Our community mission

A website for neighbors, leaders and future generations

Newton Cares exists to build citizen awareness and open civic dialogue across every district of Newton County, Georgia.

From following infrastructure projects like the Salem Road corridor upgrades to celebrating the multi-use trails built by Newton Trails and the PATH Foundation, we want every resident to know what is happening and have the chance to help shape the county's future.

Our guiding principle is live, learn, work and play: a community where everyone can thrive in safe neighborhoods, take part in civic life, find economic opportunity and enjoy the outdoors.
